Let me qualify by saying I have no insider info, and he may not be able to make it until later in the evening, but I'll be surprised if Sean doesn't make an appearance at the event

He could very well meet her later as it looked from the schedule that the event goes to 11:00. He has got to be just exhausted by now with the travel schedule, lack of sleep and practice over the last few days.

If Sean was rehearsing this late, it's likely he had a least a little time with Catherine this afternoon when he returned from Raleigh. With his early (East Coast) flight this morning, he's probably not in great shape for a big fundraiser tonight- and Catherine's probably having a ball. The Junior League's members are generally young, well-educated women- some married and some single. She might make some great connections.
